From Mr. Tupper to a Movement Rooted in Kindness, Education, and Giving
I spent years in the classroom, not just teaching content, but building projects that connected students to the real world service, using fundraising as a tool to build empathy and kindness.
We didn't just learn about the world. We tried to make it better.
The Day I Stepped Away
In 2019, I left the classroom to care for my dad before major surgery. What I thought would be a short leave turned into something else entirely. The years passed. The classroom changed. And I never returned — not because I stopped loving education, but because I no longer believed in what the system had become.
I couldn't go back to teaching to a test. Not when I had seen how powerful education could be when it focused on purpose, not performance.
What I Did Instead
During those quiet years away, I built something.
I took everything I had learned from my time developing project-based learning programs, from serving on the WASC accreditation team at Korea International School Jeju, from working with top international curriculum tools — and I began designing a system that worked for everyone.
A system where:
Students could build portfolios, not just take tests.
Parents could access private school–level curriculum at an affordable price.
Schools and organizations could raise funds by promoting learning instead of selling cookie dough.
And scholarships weren't based on test scores, but on kindness, resilience, and effort.

The Giving Classroom Was Born
The Giving Classroom is part homeschool hub, part fundraising platform, and part movement. It lets families subscribe to award-winning, personalized curriculum — and gives back 15% of every enrollment to schools, PTOs, and student councils.
It's education that gives. It's learning that matters. It's a fundraiser rooted in growth, not guilt.
Why I'm Sharing This Now
Because my dad is back in the hospital. And my mom — who's always been there, quietly holding the family together — deserves to see the purpose behind everything I've built.
They're the reason I stepped away. They're the reason I've kept going. And they're the reason kindness will always be at the center of this.
This platform — this purpose — is built on what I know best: Kindness. Education. And Giving.
It's the next chapter for Mr. Tupper. Not just a teacher anymore — but a builder of something that honors every child, every parent, and every family who's ever made a quiet sacrifice in the name of love.
